Solano Irrigation District Regular Board Meeting Date Change
SID's Regular Board Meetings will now be taking place on the 3rd Tuesday of each month starting at 7:00pm beginning October 20, 2009.
Meetings will be held at Solano Irrigation District located at:
508 Elmira Road

Major natural disasters may strike the Bay Area again during the next several years. Lives will be lost, property damage will occur, and our economy will suffer. The Solano Irrigation District is participating in a Bay Area Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, a process to better prepare for potential natural disasters. The following information shows how Bay Area local governments are working to mitigate those losses through the multi-jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJ-LHMP) for the Bay Area which evaluates potential hazards and our facilities.
We are asking for public input regarding potential areas, infrastructure or facilities at risk and issues that may be of specific concern to you. We request that public comments be received prior to September 29, 2009. Material will also be presented at the SID Board meeting to be held on September 21, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at 508 Elmira Road, Vacaville, CA. Clair A. Hill Scholarship
Each year a $5,000 scholarship, sponsored by CH2M Hill, is awarded to a deserving student. The program is administered by the ACWA member agency that received the Clair A. Hill Water Agency Award for Excellence the previous year. In 2009, Solano Irrigation was honored with the Clair A. Hill Water Agency Award for its innovative "Total Trihalomethane Reduction System".
