The project must be complete by March 1, 2024. The project is located adjacent and through 

rural driveways and orchards approximately ½ mile north of Midway Road from ½ mile east of 

Batavia Road to Porter Road, near Dixon in Solano County California. 

The project generally includes installing approximately 1,660 feet of 48-inch diameter, DR 17 

HDPE pipe and steel fittings; connections to existing pipes and installation of valve risers and 

access structures; demolition and removal of reinforced concrete vents and junction boxes; 

removal and abandonment of existing pipelines; installation of valves, and appurtenances, and 

surface restoration. The District has pre-purchased 48”  HDPE pipe and fittings and will be 

furnishing an assortment of fabricated steel pipe special fittings.

Engineer’s Estimate for this project: $910,000

Contractors must be prequalified prior to bidding

Contractors who were determined by the District to be pre-qualified for large diameter pipeline projects in May 2022 are eligible to bid on this project. 

Packages for new contractor pre-qualification closed on August 31, 2023.
